Estonia 2010 Youth Olympic Games

Estonia released this postal stationery on the opening day of the 1st Youth Olympic Games, 14 August 2010. It is actually a prepaid postcard, priced at 13.50 kroons, which is slightly more than USD1.00. The back of the card is totally blank for writing purposes, whereas the front is illustrated with some important aspects of these games: the sports, represented by pistol shooting, handball, and a swimmer diving from a starting block, and scenes of participants of the Culture & Education Programme. My friend sent this card one day after the last day of the games, 27 August.

Singapore 2010 YOG MyStamp Sheet

This is the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games MyStamp sheetlet, the size is that of a A5 sheet, in horizontal mode. It was released on the games opening day, 14 August 2010; priced at SGD15.50 at post offices, it comes in a hard board folder. There are 2 large panes on the sheetlet, the top pane shows the 2010 YOG logo, and the lower one displays the games mascots, Lyo and Merly. This sheet is supposedly available with the panes available for personalisation, i.e. one can send in a couple of photos to be printed on these panes. This is a very innovative idea for the games, because I can think of games participants printing their moments of victory on these panes! I understand that this sheetlet was sold out within a week of release.

UAE 2010 Youth Olympic Games

The United Arab Emirates released this souvenir sheet on the games opening day, 26 August 2010. It is a very nice design, with the flames wavering in the nation's colours; the sports featured are equestry, skit-shooting (I think this event is not included in the Singapore edition), and taekwando. I am unable to identify the 4th sports.
